Who can be a social enterprise?
Both limited liability companies and associations and foundations can be social enterprises.
How do I become a social enterprise?

• Step 1: setting up the company / association.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
• Copy of identity card of associates and administrators;
• Copy of the deed of ownership of the space destined for the registered office;
• Copy of owner identity cards;
• The agreement of the neighbors and of the tenants’ association (registered office with activity, established at the apartment);
• Minimum 3 company name proposals.

• Step 2: the status of social enterprise is recognized by obtaining the certificate of social enterprise.

To obtain the certificate, the entity must comply with the following criteria:

• To act for social purposes and / or in the general interest of the community;
• To allocate at least 90% of the profit to the social purpose and the statutory reserve;
• To transfer the assets remaining after the liquidation to one or more social enterprises;
• To apply the principle of social equity to employees, ensuring fair pay levels.
